LV-01 · STRUCTURED CABLING

The backbone every other system runs on.

Structured cabling is the foundation of a connected building. We design, pull, terminate, test and label the Cat6/6A, fiber and coax that every other system depends on.

What we install

Everything the system needs.

Structured Cabling for multi-family, commercial and residential buildings across Metro Vancouver, scoped and installed as one coordinated package.

Horizontal cabling

Cat6/6A runs from the rack to every outlet, tested to standard.

Fiber backbones

Riser and inter-building fiber for high-bandwidth links between floors and sites.

Racks & patch panels

Clean, labelled racks, patch panels and cable management built to grow.

Risers & pathways

Vertical risers, conduit, J-hooks and pathways planned into the build.

Certification testing

Every drop tested and certified, with results handed over.

As-built documentation

Labelling, drawings and test reports your IT team or PM can actually use.

How we work

One drawing set, one crew.

01

Design

We plan the cabling into the drawing set before a wall closes.

02

Rough-in

Runs pulled and staged during construction, coordinated with the trades.

03

Terminate

Neat, standards-based terminations at the outlet and the rack.

04

Test & document

Certified, labelled, and handed over with full as-builts.

Why Orbit

Done once, done right.

One coordinated drawing set

Certified and tested, not just connected

Clean documentation on handover

On the same backbone

Every low-voltage system runs on the same structured cabling, designed together so they actually work as one.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

What is the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A cabling?

Cat6A supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over longer distances with better shielding against interference, which makes it the safer choice for high-density and future-proof installs. Cat6 is still suitable for many residential and light commercial runs.

Do you certify and test the cabling?

Yes. Every drop is tested and certified to standard, then labelled and handed over with as-built documentation your IT team or property manager can use.

Can you cable an occupied or existing building?

Yes. Orbit retrofits occupied multi-family, commercial and residential buildings, planning pathways and pulls to minimise disruption.

Planning a project?
